Cookery Demonstrator & Tutor

A fascination with period dramas and historical documentaries has piqued the public’s interest in how we used to eat. As a consequence I get regular requests to give talks to groups on topics like the origins of afternoon tea. I also provide live cookery demonstrations at food festivals helping spectators rediscover forgotten recipes. Whether it’s a talk or a demonstration I can tweak a number of popular themes to fit into your event or recommend topics which I know will enthral your audience.

Some people are not content with hearing about what we used to cook, they want to experience it for themselves. Therefore, I run small cookery courses at my Edwardian house, such as a Plum Pudding Masterclass on Stir Up Sunday. I can also provide private cookery courses on request.
